The extreme weather conditions with unusual cold weather and seldom seen amounts of snow earlier this year that hit big parts of middle and southern China has unfortunately impacted the tracks for the race. In order to reach the required security level and especially make sure the quality of the race tracks, the main organizers CCA and the Huangshan government unfortunately have decided to postpone the event this year for a few weeks. The new intentional event date will be on May 10th, but this date is still NOT confirmed by CCA and the Huangshan government, but will be within two days.
Nordicways sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused and hope that bikers who already have registered will show up on the new race day. If you already have registered but can not participate on the new event date, we will of course accept your withdrawal and reimburse the registration fee. For you bikers who have not signed up yet, there still are time to make up your mind and decide to come and join the MTB Festival in Huangshan.
The positive news is the big interest among domestic and international bikers for the Huangshan MTB Festival. Until today a couple of hundred of bikers have already signed up for the yearly race that is being arranged for the third consecutive year.
